One of the most significant events of 2022 was BCW.Satellite, an annual leading event in AIoT that brought together experts and innovators from all over the world. The event featured live broadcasts direct from Berlin, and in-person lectures on AIoT and digital transformation. In Campinas, Brazil, the event featured lectures on innovative solutions present in the region, as well as several networking opportunities. The event was a great opportunity for professionals to learn about the latest trends, share ideas and collaborate on future projects.
Another notable initiative was Era AIoT, an event track in the area of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things developed by Bosch through Connectory in partnership with Intel, AWS, Lean Sales, Lenovo and CPQD. The initiative aimed to provide an end-to-end educational experience for all audiences interested in the topic, whether with a technical or business focus, for research institutes, startups, corporations, universities, and innovation hubs. Era AIoT fostered knowledge in AIoT for the community and generated connections and relationships among the participants.
At the end of November, SAE Brazil’s Jump Start Innovation Challenge took place, it was another exciting event of the year, organized by SAE Brazil, with the theme Metaverse in Mobility. The competition was a hackathon/ideathon style event that used agile methodologies and Design Thinking, developing the theme Metaverse of Mobility. The competition had on-site evaluation, classification, and awards from 1st to 3rd place, with the participation of judges and mentors from partner companies, universities, and various existing mentorships at SAE BRAZIL. The event provided a journey of immersion and training in entrepreneurship and innovation to student competitors through training and preparation on the theme in lives before and during the event.
